About me

I am from Italy and have lived in Bristol for over 20 years. My family comes from southern Italy, where for generations they cultivated olive trees in its fertile land for olive oil. That explains the olive tree in my logo, symbolising my own roots and its deeply spiritual associations.

Before becoming a full-time mum I completed a degree in social work and have since been working in various  social care roles within adult and children services. I have a good understanding of the impact that trauma and  life challenges have on people and how empathy helps us to feel heard, empowered and become more resilient.

My desire to use my own practical and emotional experience to help others improve their own lives led me to train in holistic massage.

My practice is greatly influenced by the principles of t’ai chi: correct alignment and relaxed whole body movement performed in harmony with the breath are essential to my massage style and in promoting relaxation. I have been studying T’ai Chi Chuan  at the Bristol Lam Rim Buddhist Centre for several years.

My development

Continuing professional development keeps my practice up-to-date and as supportive as it can be. This includes postgraduate advanced training as required for MTI membership. I am fully insured with Holistic Therapist Specialist Balens , have a DBS check and  Emergency first aid certificate.

I believe that self-care enables me to care for others. And so I support myself in my practice with plenty of fresh air, exercise and a healthy diet. I  enjoy  t’ai chi, yoga, spend time in nature and.... receive a massage whenever I can!

I am trained to Level 4 MTI, from the highly regarded Bristol College of Massage and Bodywork, BCMB. This is higher than the Level 3 industry standard.
